Prov. Health (EHT, Provincial Health Tax) - (Payroll Tab)View the next screen based on the program's menu orderView the previous screen based on the program's menu order

This screen is optional - If your province/region does not support a payroll-funded provincial health plan, you can skip this screen.

Use this screen to enter your company's Provincial Health rates (if applicable in your region). Only several Canadian provinces have a provincially-regulated health plan that is funded by payroll tax levies. Provinces and territories may determine how to finance health insurance plans. Financing can be through the payment of premiums (employer and/or employee), payroll taxes, sales taxes, other provincial or territorial revenues, or by a combination of methods. Please review your province's provincial health regulations in order to obtain the necessary information to complete this screen.

IMPORTANT: You Must Assign Provincial Health to Applicable Earnings and Benefits - When you use this feature, you must also assign it to each earning and benefit to which Provincial Health is subject. You can do so by placing a check in the Prov. Health checkbox for each applicable earning in the Current Payroll - Earnings screen, and for each applicable benefit in the Current Payroll - Benefits screen.
